MeGUI/Subtitle Edit - Problem with some hard coded subs.

Hi there! Jeez, I haven't posted here in years.
I've been having trouble with some hard coded spanish subtitles from the TV series Justified that I've been converting lately.
For the encode I have used MeGUI and for the subtitles edition Subtitle Edit, both in their latest versions, at this moment.
Nothing fancy in the encode, just a resize from 1920 to 1280 and the hard coded subs where I use a .ssa file (converted from a .srt with Subtitle Edit).

As you can see in the screenshot, the first line where appears the character "í" for the word "conseguí" it's wrong and the "n" from "ninguna" is also missing:

Three lines after it shows ok:

Here, is the screenshot of the .ssa file and I see nothing wrong in it:

I just don't get it. In this case I get that error in that line and then no more. Some other times, I get the some similar errors in the first lines and after Ok.
I can't figure out what is happening.
Some ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, I'm sorry to be persistent but any help will be more than welcome.
I've been converting a few more videos and always run into this error that I still haven't been able to fix.
Please, some ideas?
Thanks.

Because people do not understand what you're asking

Hardsub means that subtitles are part of the image - like milotto in thes second image.

The second part is simpler: change the code page.

Anyway, my overall take is that you waste time making a bad looking source worse - resizings are practically useless unless you're planning them for youtube (which will nevertheless reencode again your material).
