Additional notes: [I've had one faultly disc in about 50. The Japan-made ones are maybe better that the ones made in Taiwan...? The faulty one was Taiwanese. Check the packaging, cause they vary (the five packs tend to be Japan-made, whereas the ten packs tend to be Taiwan-made]

Remark:

Don't buy these "conmark" dvd-r!

Now, after some weeks they don't work anymore. I can burn them but they won't read in any standalone or dvd-rom. Only in the burner.
So, sorry.

Brand: [Memorex]
Type: [DVD+RW]
Format: [Single Layer]
Max write speed: [2.4x]
Unit price: [on sale at $24 something for 25 pack spindle; labeled just below barcode as (Memorex)part no 3202 5542]
Retailer: [CompUSA has had these at this price at least twice.]

DVD Burner: [HP 300I]
DVD burning software: [Bundled RecordNow 4.56]

Compatibility: [RecordNow reports data verification problems on at least 50% of the discs I have used. When maximizing available disk space, picture breaks up partially in the last 15 minutes. This has been observed on first time burning, and repeated burns of the disks. The severity of breakup varies with different stand alone players. It is less noticeable on my Toshiba SD 1600, and worse on JVC and Zenith players. I recorded the same files to Memorex DVD+RW 4x that were purchased in 10 packs in jewel cases and had no problems. As others have indicated, it seems some manufacturers may be using disks from less reliable manufacturers in the spindle packs.]
