.srt editing
Is there a way to automatically 'balance' text in an entire srt file with subtitles over 2 lines, besides doing it manually per line? Limiting/extending the amount of characters per line. For example instead of:
I set out all the extra chairs, and I made your granny a plate. or I set out all the extra chairs, and I made your granny a plate. Is there some way to automatically change it to this: I set out all the extra chairs, and I made your granny a plate. or this: I set out all the extra chairs, and I made your granny a plate. So it's on the same line or at least mutliple lines are aligned more or less evenly to the middle? Purely so it's a little more aesthetically pleasing. I guess the only confusion automation could have would be if another person spoke, needing a new line. I have been using Subtitle Workshop and this has a correct subtitles over 2 lines option, but still leaves some odd lines, looking 'unbalanced'! Last edited by 00-00; 24th April 2023 at 01:42. |
