Stabilizing Without Zooming

I'm trying to stabilize my shaky footage without zooming based on the following video but the stabilized result looks "wobbly".

Shaky

Stabilized

How can I fix it?

Never used the vdub stab filter. But you could try out some avisynth/vapoursynth scripts. I had very good results with stab3().

Avisynth stab3() and others

Seriously? The .avsi is very well documented. It lists all dependencies and has a link to a forum thread with lots of info and examples.

De-select "camera has rolling shutter" - that option is for CMOS cameras, not film.

Most modern camcorders (those with a CMOS sensor instead of a CCD sensor) don't capture the whole frames at once, but instead use a "rolling shutter"
...
For Deshaker, a rolling shutter means that the camcorder shake parameters (panning, rotation and zoom) aren't necessarily constant over the entire frame, but can change slightly from one line to the next. If you enable this setting, Deshaker will therefore allow these parameters to change linearly in the vertical direction during pass 1...

Thanks. Now it is much better but not perfect.

The artifacts around the edges are not so terrible IMHO. You can enable "soft borders" which help hide them somewhat.

Stronger de-shaking (higher "motion smoothness" and/or "max. correction" settings) by necessity creates larger borders. For smaller borders, lower those settings. (What you have looks like a good compromise though)

Here is the last settings with estabilizacion Imagen.vdscript that I used for my shaky footage.

Is Stabilized3 the best result about without zooming (within possibility) in your opinion?

I made a quick test with stab3 and the other scripts. Imho you have already the best result with the vdub filter. Stab3() seems to be good only for small de-shaking (I used it only for DVDs with 1-3 px shaking) and with the script by fred, the border artefacts are much more visible than in your Stabilized.avi.

You could also try the build in ffmepg stabilizer github.com/georgmartius/vid.stab
But I doubt it will beat your results.
