True, I didn't read what the target was :P Well, if he got the money to spend on burnable DVD:s, he can use crappy settings with increased bitrate. Pioneer AVIC got a really small display, so maybe even SD-resolution is OK (like 720x480).

Well, he was not supposed to drive and to watch movies, be they 9GB or 50
A lot of campers have 20" TVs or larger. A miniature mediaplayer won't take too much place for itself, and a HDMI cable or similar won't either.

@Ghitulescu. The Pioneer AVIC models with the biggest displays have 7 inch displays. SD-resolution should be enough for that.

Oh, never thought the discussion would continue.

Of course the AVIC has a tiny display, but the camper LCD doesn't!
