Any interest for a new DLNA controller ?

I have been working for the last few months on an application in Python to play, and control through a web interface, local and remote contents to a DLNA/UPnP renderer, including videos embedded in web sites, even at higher resolutions or in HLS, because I did not find what I needed among existing solutions (and I know there are lot of them).

The script is now completed, tested, and fully operational with my Samsung Smart TV, so I decided to share it on Github: https://github.com/PCigales/DLNAPlayOn.

I was wondering if there could be any interest for such an application, that still needs some work: at least translation into other language than French and better compatibility with other devices (but also UI improvements !).

There are many more explanations on the home page on github, so it that it the case, why not go take a look and even give it a try ?
