Authoring tool that wont reencode ac3?
I've created dvd compliant m2v and ac3 files from my home videos to be backed up onto a DVD. What software would just take these files and make them DVD ready instead of reencoding them? I've tried DVD flick, which allows me to keep my mpeg2 encoding but the software reencoded my 256kb/s ac3 file to 192kb/s ac3. Help!

IfoEdit (no menus), DVD styler and all respectable commercial software (avoid software that can yield a DVD out of every possible multimedia file), like Adobe and up, FCP and up. If one of these software rejects your AC-3 file then it surely means that the file is not conform and should be "normed" (usually by reencoding).
