Hi FREEDONOR, try after command line: 51400001 8001C00A 00000000 (No. 0008)
Create new command line to position No. 0009: 51C00001 8001800A 00000000 (SetStream Immediate). When entering these values make sure you're using IMMEDIATE values format for SetStream (program code 51C00001). |

Is there an HDMV command for activating/deactivating another button? I have two buttons for Subtitles and No subtitles. I would like to program the one button to deactivate the other. I know buttons can auto-activate on selection (and I'd use SetButtonPage), but that would make manual activation not that nice. And do active button only show their active effect momentarily when you press them and not after? For example if activated subtitles is a text from black to white, can I keep it white until I disable subtitles? Or is a dummy alternative button needed.

Hi guys
I´m trying a project right now, a bluray where i´m adding the 4k video track where the 1080p was, and it has worked. Have a small issue though, that i just can´t get it to work. This disc has 3 audio tracks and 1 subtitle track, menu is like this: Spanish Spanish with spanish subtitles (according to original bluray this means complete subtitles, not forced (there aren´t), it doesn´t make sense to me but, hey, it is what it is) English with spanish subtititles So the thing, i have respected the original disc structure when it comes to audio and subtitles, but when i select the fist track, spanish (without subtitles) my player brings up spanish subtitles. It does not happen with the original disc, though, and it does not happen with some other discs, so it´s not a question of the player i´m using. I´m not an expert on bdedit, i can go this far, to make this kind project work 99%, so i decide to compare both the original and the custom project, and i can see everything looks exactly the same (except the obvious and needed modifications). So my question is, is there any way to fix it?, there has to be, since the original disc has the expected behaviour the main menu suggests. This is how the commands look for the OID/file where the movie is: 0000 [50400001,00000005 ,00000004 ] Move GPR5, 4 0001 [50400001,00000006 ,00000300 ] Move GPR6, 768 0002 [48400200,0000000A ,0000003E ] EQ GPR10, 62 0003 [20810000,00000006 ,00000000] GoTo 6 0004 [51400001,8009C00A ,80008000 ] SetStream GPR9, GPR10, 0, 0 0005 [20810000,00000007 ,00000000] GoTo 7 0006 [51400001,8009800A ,80008000 ] SetStream GPR9, GPR10, 0, 0 0007 [00000000,00000000,00000000] NOP 0008 [48400200,00000001 ,00000001 ] EQ GPR1, 1 0009 [42820000,00000005 ,00000002 ] Play PL_MK 5, GPR2 0010 [48400200,00000001 ,00000000 ] EQ GPR1, 0 0011 [22800000,00000005 ,00000000] Play PL 5 0012 [50000001,00000004 ,00000003 ] Move GPR4, GPR3 0013 [50400001,00000003 ,00000000 ] Move GPR3, 0 0014 [48400300,00000004 ,00000000 ] NE GPR4, 0 0015 [21010000,00000004 ,00000000] Jump Title GPR4 0016 [50400001,00000007 ,00000000 ] Move GPR7, 0 0017 [50400001,00000005 ,00000001 ] Move GPR5, 1 0018 [50400001,00000006 ,00000300 ] Move GPR6, 768 0019 [21830000,00000004 ,00000000] Call Title 4 Last edited by Cesarleeds; 15th July 2021 at 22:20. |

Hi, I'm curious if BDEdit is capable of replacing a 1080p stream with a 4K HDR10 stream (same movie and length, just the 4K HDR version), with menu functionality, chapters, and special features still intact? Has anyone been able to accomplish this before? I'm really curious to see what the process is like for this sort of thing.
Thank you! |

Replacing DD audio with DD+ audio
I'm currently working on a project using BDRebuilder (BDRB) in order to create a UHD BD-25 with 4K/HDR video, w/ DD+ audio.
BDRB, at this point in time, recodes the DD+ audio to DD. So, the plan is to replace the DD audio with the original DD+ audio by using tsMuxer to remux into a BD folder. But, tsMuxer "aborts" by not creating the playlist file. All other BDMV content is created. I was given a pointer to take the BDRB playlist file and copy it to the tsMuxer created folder. I was then to edit the playlist file and change the audio tag from DD to DD+. I'm using BDEdit 0.49 and can see nothing regarding audio. I didn't see anything in the clipinfo file either. Just where is the info regarding audio types located? Thanks in advance.

You can edit the audio type on the playlist tab.
See for a short manual http://bdedit.pel.hu/ Last edited by musiclover; 14th December 2021 at 17:12. |

I'm sorry, but that was zero help. If I right-click on the line that says "PlayItem" in the STN section, nothing happens.
On the left side, directly under the "PlayList" label, if I right-click on "000" (in this case the only listing), I get the "Edit/Read Only" popup. Now I can change the content of any of the fields on that line. I have no idea which one has to do with audio and if any one of them does, what the content should be. AIUI, there is no real documentation for the program, especially what all of the fields are and what the content can be. It would probably need to be 500+ pages. |

Thanks. Not real obvious. Got it changed.
At this point in time, I don't think that is going to fix the issue. The audio plays correctly, even though it was labeled wrong. I have a couple of other tests to do. |

Well, I managed to freeze the Sony UHD player. I changed the audio from DD/mono to DD+/Multichannel and added some chapter marks. I used the clipinfo and M2TS files from what tsMuxer created an the edited playlist file from BDRB. I do not know which piece is causing the freeze.
At this point in time, it looks like my attempt to get this working is a failure. Sigh! |

BDEdit 0.49
I must be doing something wrong when it comes to modifying the playlist chapter marks. TPTB for some idiotic reason did not put in a complete set of chapter marks. The movie is about 1:56:00 in length and yet the last mark is at ~1:42:00. Normally the last mark is about 2 seconds from the end. In the case of this movie, a few other marks are needed as well. It came with 16 marks. I added 6 more. And yes, the added marks are at IDR frames. The problem is that the new marks (17 thru 21) only jump forward a few seconds. And yet, the last mark actually went where I wanted it; about 2 seconds from the end. Is there something else I need to do to get the added marks to go where I wanted them? |

I wish Pel would have a better system in place for upgrading/updating. As it is now you'll have to email him (from the registered email account) requesting to have the download link for the latest version. This way you can't even know which one is the latest until you get it..

I'm working on v0.52 and I need a lot of different menu structure to test it.
It would be a big help if anyone could send me the saved IG streams of different BD titles as .mnu files. The most usable (diverse) collections will be rewarded with the new version of BDedit. Thanks in advance for your contribution. |
