Get yourself a well known program that has solved this problem already (such as FFCoder, Handbrake, MeGui, Ripbot264, WinFF, ...) and study their profiles. They have been polished over time with user feedback and a lot of hard work.

thanks...
i posted this after looking at their profiles.... i mean not all of them, but MeGUI, RipBot, Handbrake and StaxRip. what i need to do is after selecting a profile, do some changes to gain more quality! doing so, sometimes they indicate that it is no longer compatible... (ex: changing tha AVC level) but sometimes, they does not.... ex: if I change max ReFrames to 16, they still show that it is compatible..... but I know that 16 re-frames does not work with them.... what I want to know is in between value, such as from 4 to 10...... do they work? also need to know that about HE SBR and HEv2 SBR+PS AAC support, Multi-Channel Audio support and SRT support!... those encoders are less informative about them! the problem im facing is I don't have those devices, if I had I can test, but i need to encode for them! |
