DVD FLICK sub SRT problem
Ok I created a DVD from an MKV with DVD Flicks with default settings. The subtitles that were in the MKV apparently were not supported by DVDflick because they did not show up on the source info after importing the MKV.
I found a english srt sub and added it to the project and created the DVD. Once authored the subs were about 2 sec out of sync so I edited the times in the srt file based on the correct times from the authored DVD and recreated the disk. the only settings I changed were adding 15 chapters since the first was authored without chapters and I set the subs to be always on. On the new DVD disk the subs are much closer only 3 or 4 sec off. I checked the time stamp of the dialog on the new disk against the old disk and found it had changed by about 5 sec. Dialog that started at 53:50 on the first disk now starts at 53:55. What might cause the time stamp to change? adding the chapters? Letting DVDFLICK auto encode (makes it a little different every time)? Last edited by veger69; 14th June 2012 at 17:49. |
