I believe there might be some issues with BackupHDDVD.
In the meantime, please be patient, as some people will release new and improved decrypters in the near future.

I can see both you and "tonyp12" has kept an updated list in this topic. The only difference is that "tonyp12" has sorted the list in alphabetical order sorted by title name. Maybe you should just copy/paste tonyp12's list to the first post?

How did you arrive at finding the keys, Janvitos? I'm very interested to know, but not too technically savvy. Muslix seemed to push you in the right direction when he replied a couple days ago.

What pushed him and others in the right direction was LordSloth who posted the link to the Google scavenger hunt for half a title key based on the text posted on pastebin.com.
Where LordSloth found the pastebin.com link I don't know, and I don't know who started the scavenger hunt. The guy posting the scavenger hunt at pastebin.com must have found a title key on his own.
Read from this first post by LordSloth and on-wards:

Concerning publishing Title/Volume Keys:

I was wondering if there is an easy (and computationally fast) way to determine whether or not any given Volume Key/Title Key is real or fake.

In other words: can we envision a program that looks at your HD DVD, takes a few (but specific) parts of encrypted material and checks whether or not a given key is working? Didn't muslix64 use this "known-plain-text" technique? Can we predict what a (part of a) file should like like when decrypted? And if so, how precise?

This would be relevant if untrusted sources would/had to be used to verify if their keys are correct. Effectively making it possible to decentralize verification.

Regards,

arnezami

PS. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post (but since we are publishing Volume Keys here...). It also relates somewhat to this thread. I'll leave it to the mods .

I have created a javascript titlesorter

TitleSorter.hta

Just place it in the same folder as your keydb.cfg file.
and double click it to run.

There will be more work on it:
A text box to input other lists and merge data.
To option to omit the word "The" in sorting.

The file is not Digitaly Signed, how do I do that so you do not get warning messages?

MrDVD I don't believe there is.. Since there isn't region codes on them if I remember right. I also don't think they are because the night the first keys were discovered I think someone tried a European disc and it did have the same key..

A suggestion for the title names:

We ought to use a naming convention for titles so that we don't get duplicate entries. I recommend using IMDB.com as the reference, so "Chronicles of Riddick" should rather be "The Chronicles of Riddick" (http://imdb.com/title/tt0296572/).
