Shading
I have a DVD of some rather poor film that I'm trying to improve. Mostly it is the standard problems but there is also a certain amount of "shading". Most of the picture (probably 4 fifths) is uniform luma level then the levels rise sharply on the far right of the image.
I can find no filters to correct this. As it is not an uncommon film fault, my guess is that what I call shading actually has another name and I'm barking up the wrong google. Can anyone enlighten me, please. |
