jittery playback aka dropped frames with lav cuvid
got a 580 3gb gtx palit and 275.33 driver
using lav cuvid with madvr and ffdshow raw video filter for my avi playback for h264 im using coreavc wich has no probs only with avis do i get jittery , dropped frames playback help!!!!!!! |

H264 in AVI is a hack and not officially supported.

no dont misunderstand its source is xvid in the pin info not 264
i mean 264 with coreavc works butter smooth, but if i play a video with .avi file extension wich of course uses lav cuvid , mostly xvid or divx as source it gives me jittery playback , thats what i meant Last edited by sexus; 30th June 2011 at 07:22. |

You can always turn off xvid/divx decoding in LAV CUVID.
AVI is kind of broken by design and can cause this problem very easily.
