Hi

I found the video bitrate reported by Video Insepctor on most avi files to be too high compared to gspot, virtualDub and media info...
Video Insepctor lies about 5-10 kbit over the others...
Are you aware of this?

hi

while you're here...
Can you tell me how you calculate the duration on MPEG1/2 files?
reading the time from the last GOP does work but you need to find it first...which takes alot of time....
Is that how you do it? (is it the only way?)

A CLi-interface would be really nice and useful, so that you could programmatically export extracted data, like:

VideoInspector.exe "C:\myVideofile.avi" /silent /export:"C:\myVideofile.csv" /settings:"C:\VIexportsettings.ini"

You state that there's CLi-support, but where is it? Nothing when running VideoInspector.exe /? for example...

hmm... I didn't get that one working. Ran:
Code:
videoinspector.exe c:\1\test.txt
The test.txt contains:
Code:
C:\3\1.avi
It didn't produce any output file.

v.1.7.0.88

Also, just as a side-note, accelerator indicators would be nice (Alt+C for Codecs, Alt+B for Browse etc) Also hitting Escape to close any sub/informational windows would also be very nice
