Re-saving helped!

VPX
VP8->apply 'Conf:vp8 Hybrid Default' - the encoder was changed to VP9.

Yes, it's the default in current versions.
Hybrid from time to time changes the Hybrid-defaults, but it does not change the program-defaults saved by the user.

regarding x265: command line is complaing about 'no-script-cbr' being an unkown option.
Funny thing is that the command line help:
Quote:
--[no-]strict-cbr Enable stricter conditions and tolerance for bitrate deviations in CBR mode. Default disabled
and the latest documentation https://x265.readthedocs.io/en/lates...ion-strict-cbr mentions it.
-> created a bug report over at https://bitbucket.org/multicoreware/...-no-strict-cbr

Quote:
Input: *.yuv > Error (sorry, only supporting, YUV4MPEG2 raw atm.) > OK > the GUI freezes.
I can reproduce the issue, I will look into it.

Cu Selur

Ps.: will send you a fix regarding the yuv-opening freeze. Will wait for feedback from the x265 devs regarding '--no-strict-cbr'.

Will look at it during the week. (Since I'm not really using Avisynth much nowadys I hadn't noticed.)
Looks like it never worked with LWLibavVideoSource, but only with FFMpegSource2 and I deleted the FFMS2.avsi (thought it wasn't needed) which contains FFInfo.
So if you extract FFMS2.avsi (https://github.com/FFMS/ffms2/releases) into your avisynthPlugins folders at least when using FFMpegSource2 it should work.
-> it's a bug in avsViewer -> send you a link to fixed avsViewer builds via PM.

@Gravitator: Seems like this is related to Avisnyth++ itself. If you disable multithreading through enabling 'Filtering->Avisynth->Misc->Script->Miscellaneous->Disable MT' frame detection works fine, but it will slow down all other filters.

This helped with the correct display of information about I/P/B frames

1. Replacement C:\Program Files\Hybrid\32bit\avsViewer.exe leads to activation of Info for LibavVideoSource.
2. Adding files avsViewer.exe and FFMS2.avsi in C:\Program Files\Hybrid\32bit\avisynthPlugins leads to activation of Info for FFmpegSource.

The new fix does not work without disabling MT. How to switch to 64bit mode?

a. avsViewer should be in 32bit folder not in 32bit/avisynthPlugins folder.
b. for me this happens:
when I use Avisynth 32bit and load a source where LWLibavVideoSource is used triggering the Info-button properly adds Info() to the preview script.
when I use Avisynth 32bit and load a source where FFVideoSourceis used triggering the Info-button properly adds FFInfo() to the preview script, but at the wrong position. (not above Prefetch)
when I use Avisynth 64bit and load a source where LWLibavVideoSource is used triggering the Info-button properly adds Info() to the preview script.
when I use Avisynth 32bit and load a source where FFVideoSourceis used triggering the Info-button properly adds FFInfo() properly before Prefetch().
-> will look into it.

v1.12.12.2021

avsViewer32
Prefer FFmpegSorce: does not show I/P/B without disconnecting MT;
Support DGdecNV: "Avisynth preview error: -> DGSource: Could not open DGIndexNV.ini. (C:\Users\GRAVITATOR\AppData\Local\Temp\tempPreviewAvisynthFile19_16_30_812.avs, line 6)" - the window does not start.

avsViewer64
Support DGdecNV: "Avisynth preview error: -> DGSource: Could not open DGIndexNV.ini. (C:\Users\GRAVITATOR\AppData\Local\Temp\tempPreviewAvisynthFile19_33_15_828.avs, line 6)" - the window does not start;
LibavVideoSorce: "Avisynth preview error: -> Import: unable to locate "" (try specifying a path), error=0x57 (C:\Users\GRAVITATOR\AppData\Local\Temp\tempPreviewAvisynthFile19_23_57_531_tmp.avs, line 12)" - error when enabling info and the window is closed when the button for the next frame is pressed;
Prefer FFmpegSorce: Info - press the button for the next frame > I dont know what FFSAR_NUM means ([Scriipt Clip] line 1).

x254/x265
Changing the encoding mode (ABR, 2-pass, b-frames) at a bitrate of 1000kbps results in the message "Current settings would result in a file size below 1 MB. -> changing Filesize to 1MB".

Can't reproduce, only should happen if the warning is correct.

about DGDecNV: Try starting DGIndexNV.exe, it should recreate the file. Alternatively you can create empty DGDecNV.ini files.
about Info: probably forgot to update avsViewer

-> seems like I should think about dropping 32bit Avisynth from Hybrid

Should be changed to DGIndexNV.ini

This behaviour is correct.
Hybrid does not support encoding to file sizes below 1 MB through bit rate based methods.

No clue what you intended to say wih that.

Yes, but I see no script change in Hybrid that could prevent it aside from dropping multithreading which is not happing.
It's this way for years.

I propose to expand the viewer
If you hold click and down on the original photo, the filtered photo will be displayed (as on photo comparison sites).
