ok, the quest goes on. I downloaded this file:
http://www-mmsp.ece.mcgill.ca/docume...Channel_ID.wav which, according to tebasuna51 and justin, the author of aften is in the standard order of 5.1 six track wavs. i encoded it with the latest git version of aften and send the ac3 to somebody who has a working surround setup, which he checked twice using the soundcard tools speaker test. the ac3 does not play correctly as the back Left and back Right speakers are not assigned correctly. can somebody check that on his / her surround system? thankx, t. |

What is the soundcard tool speaker test used? How do you decode the ac3? For what channels sound the BL and BR?
