Someone else reported same issue on w10 v1809. But we haven't been able to reproduce it. Do you have any special mouse/keyboard related software installed? Or anything else running at the same time (in background)?

No special driver, no special software. Even if I close everything except the player it's still the same.

Here's an excerpt from spy++, the menu is shown at the 3rd line WM_ENTERIDLE, then I move the mouse cursor outside of the menu area.
I could try to debug it in Visual Studio if you provide the pdb files.

if I hold Shift+Scroll Up/Down on Download Subtitles dialog, it will download subtitle. Is it a bug? I guess this also happen on vanilla build.

Almost all the reported GUI bugs/regressions have been fixed. Only the menu closing issue not yet.

nice...
I cant whait for the Final Release..

also you can only activate teh Dark theme when you go with the menue on top, if you use the right click menue on player theres no "Drak Theme" found.
Since i only use the Player without the Menue Bar on Top this is kinda un handy..

Tested teh new Build, as far as i can tell everything works as it should

THANK YOU !!1!

Edit:

When i use an "Dark" Windows Theme (WIN7) and enable Dark mode some Text is unreadable.. But its not the Players Fault i think..
Some Dark Themes will have Problems with it..

When Saving Image as JPG (Key ID: 806), if Quality is not divisible by 25, then image is saved with quality 1 less than expected.

The seekbar timestamp has weird flickering with the dark theme on at least Windows 7 when using either the classic theme or one of the high contrast themes.

Again, this is with no DPI scaling with everything set to 100% DPI, I've simply zoomed in the actual animations so that you can more clearly see the issue.

Oh and yeah, these are animated PNGs since this type of content compresses and optimizes extremely well and it lets me piggy-back on any old standard image host (or at least the ones that don't re-encode PNGs) so that I can hotlink and embed it directly into my post.

So if the image isn't animating, then make sure you're not using a browser made by Microsoft nor some mobile-only browser.

Win7 + "Windows Classic" theme

Win7 + "High Contrast Black" theme

Hi everyone, clsid has been relaying your concerns over to me on github. I have been responding on the pull request. If you have bugs (ONLY related to the dark theme), go ahead and post them there. Otherwise, I can and will respond once I notice, but only over there.

Thanks

hy,

i just read your response on Github, but since i do not have an Github account i cant reply there..
--> https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc/pul...ment-524484864

i dont use a High Contrast theme, i use a custom 3rd Party theme that i edited a bit.. Hence why i sayd "its not the Players fault, etc".
Im allready happy as it is, since it really looks nice now.. I know that when using a 3rd party theme i cant expect it to work perfect, since its not the "normal" case.. So im all fine with it.. Just wanted to let you know..

GREAT WORK by the way

Greetings..

What would cause the x64 version to crash hard on subs with xysubfilter and vsfilter but not 32bit? (going back to at least 1.7.13)

No crash here. I muxed the ASS to mkv with random video/audio (fonts as attachments). MPC-HC x64 1.8.7 + LAV Filters 0.74.1.22 + madVR 0.92.17.
Tested:
- ISR
- XySubFilter 3.2.0.802 (pinterf)
- xy-vsfilter 3.2.0.802 (pinterf)

Older versions of Xy* had a crash bug.

If you want reliability, use the internal subtitle renderer.

Ah I was using 3.1.0.752. I thought that was the latest.
Whatever K-Lite uses crashed.

Hasn't "reliability" always just been "use the 32 bit version"?
