I installed avisynth+ 3.6.0,Why is it displayed when loading 64-bit dll: Cannot load a 64 bit DLL in 32 bit Avisynth ?
My system is windows 7 64 bit,Why is the 32-bit avisynth displayed after installation?
who can help me?

Do you have a previous install (via the official installer) of Avisynth+?

Also, download this tool, select Avisynth 32 Bit and then Avisynth 64 Bit and report any errors. You can save a log file for each configuration.

I only installed version 2.6 before. The problem now is that the 64-bit dll cannot be loaded.

I used this tool,Please see my avisynth information.

Are these the complete log files?

Anyway, somehow a 64 bit plugin made it to the 32 bit plugin directory.
I suggest you uninstall both 64 bit and 32 bit AVS+, clean up orphan directories (if any) and re-install.

I used RegWorkshop to clean up the registry.
This is the installation file "AviSynthPlus_3.6.0_20200520_vcredist".
After installation, why is the 32-bit avisynth+ displayed? This is the main problem.

So you used the official installer, not the universal installer. I suppose you simply did not deselect the 32 bit version.

Again, are these the complete log files?

I removed the 32 bit for installation and the display is still 32 bit, and the avs icon is not displayed

It is the icon of the "xxx.avs" file. I tried other versions, still 32-bit, which is why I cannot load 64-bit. Do you have any good suggestions?

I really don't know how to help you. I still have no idea what icon you mean and how it is relevant. What other versions of what have you tried? And again, which program gives you the error message?

Sorry, can't help you, there's just too little info for troubleshooting.
I think there some fundamental things about Avisynth and how it interacts with software that uses it which you don't yet understand.

You can use 64-bit AviSynth+ and 64-bit plugins only in a 64-bit application. Running a 32-bit application will only call 32-bit AviSynth+, and you can only load 32-bit plugins.

Just thought I'de give a heads up here, that there was an AIO (All-In-One) CPP runtimes update on 2nd June 2020 (14 days ago),
by abbodi1406 on github, v0.31.0 @ 28.6MB.

[combined updates with M$ crud removed, 2005 -> 2019, much smaller than individual updates, also will install where official updates with crud sometimes fail install]

EDIT: I dont think this AIO update removes old runtimes for XP, for XP need Uninstall all runtimes by hand, then run this updater.

This is only needed once before installing the AIO package for the first time. Upon subsequent installs no manual uninstall of older runtime versions will be necessary.
