HCenc 1080p & 720p ini?
Several users of DVD slideshow GUI have been asking me for the posibility of rendering BD/HD friendly formats. So now I'm working on adding 1920x1080x23.976 and 1280x720x23.976 for Bluray authoring from DVD slideshow GUI. I don't know much about the format so I would be very happy could help me to come up suggestions for ini files for the two mentioned sizes.
Will something like this be okay? Quote:

Change colorimetry to 709 (it is not mandatory but highly recommended), For MPEG-2 15000kbps seems to be quite small - (this kind of MPEG-2 is quite common on broadcast network due bandwidth of 8-VSB but plenty of blocking can be observed)
So in my opinion at least 20000kbps is recommended (maybe even 25000kbps) to avoid problems - max bit rate shall not be higher than 29000kbps. If there is only series of pictures (no motion, blending, dissolving, fading amongst them) You can (IMHO) increase GOP size. btw TMPEGENC offer under advance editor option to manually set a frame type - I think that it allow to manually put frame as a copy of previous one - this save plenty of bandwidth and seems that this is very useful especially for pictures. |
