Can ImgToolBurn be used with Nero 9 in Vista?

Hi,
I Just installed Nero 9 on a Vista OS Machine. ImgToolBurn complains that it can't find NeroAPI. I went into Nero and I found NeroAPI.dll, why can't ImgToolBurn FE find it? Is there something else I need to install to get it to work?

Hi!

It's probably due to the fact that IMGTool Burn was (if I remember correctly) discontinued about two years ago and, therefore, likely lacks the ability to connect to more current versions of NERO (It requires interaction via NERO API)...

BTW - You do realize, don't you, that IMGTool Burn is a different program than the highly regarded IMGBurn, which is maintained on a current basis?

Yes but,
ImgToolBurn makes backing-up a great deal simpler than ImgBurn. Anyway, thank-you for your response and answer. I guess only coujo can save ImgToolBurn from the march of progress.
