dmMediaConverter v2.5.5
dmMediaConverter is a crossplatform FFmpeg frontend (GUI) exposing some of its features. It is intended to be simple and easy to use but also to be able to achieve complex tasks. I have inspired myself from a lot of media converters like Handbrake, WinFF and MkvMergeGui. One feature was lacking from most of them, video stream copy (pass through), that made me build this.
For download and more details, here: https://sites.google.com/site/dmsimp...MediaConverter If i have posted in the wrong subforum, please move the thread. Also i will appreciate any kind of feedback. Thanks. Last edited by mdalacu; 14th February 2023 at 09:49. Reason: New version |

The forum defaults to only display one month of threads, I don't think anyone has accused you of violating any licences.
It looks like a nice GUI, I would give it a try but I am a CLI user. |

How interesting.
Though, it's a bit tricky to download with the Google thing. View defaults to tiles instead of list/details. Plus I had to refresh page a couple times before downloaded started for me. Thanks for the update. I'll give it a whirl sometime. Get something going for my Sony media player.

GDrive is a bit finicky, since it uses a lot of Javascript, and the default view (grid) doesn't work for your names, since all files look like "dmmediaconverter...". You should add "#list" to your download link.
Dropbox is a great alternate location, it's easy to share whole folders once and copy whatever you want into them later. |

Regardind Dropbox, GDrive can do the same, you don't have to specify explicit permisions for uploaded files on a shared folder. In my country i can upload to GDrive with ~9 MB/s and on Dropbox with only 800 KB/s. Thanks. |

Awesome app! Just had a play with the windows version and it's coming along nicely
The only thing I miss is the extra ~ 15% speed of a 64bit x264! How difficult are 64bit versions of this sort of thing (I assume FFMPEG have a native 64 bit version)?!? 7ek |

If it is real then i would take this into consideration since on linux i already provide a 64bit version. Thanks for suggesting this. |

I'm enabling 2 pass mode. But after I finish work, I'll check with Mediainfo, is displayed information --rc as abr and not as 2 pass. Last edited by GodRealm; 19th September 2014 at 15:50. |
