Hi Nordo,

to be able to help you, please post your AVStoDVD log file and make a screen shot of the filter graph and also post it here...

Using the latest AVStoDVD version is also a good idea.

Your filter graph is correct, but the log file is a little short. The whole AVStoDVD log file is needed.

You should update AVStoDVD to the latest version. Also AviSynth should be updated to version 2.60 and LAV Filters to version 0.65. And generally you cannot discuss torrent downloads at Doom9.

Thanks Manolito
I was trying not to be too explicite with what I was doing.
Regarding the log file, how and where do I capture the whole file?
I tried searching through this thread and other places but could find any instructions.
Cheers

After a conversion the log file will be in your output folder. If the DVD title is "DVD" (the default) then the log file will have the name "DVD.log".

This is a regular text file. Open it with Notepad, copy and paste the whole content into your post. For better readability you can "quote" the log content. Or you can upload the log file to a file hoster like SendSpace or Zippyshare and post just the link.

DVD is NOT dead

A little bit OT, but it should be a bit of additional motivation for folks like MrC and others who still engage in writing software to create and modify DVDs:

http://i.imgur.com/2ph5wgR.jpg

DVD sales are still more than twice as high as BluRay sales. The tendency on this forum to look at the DVD as an obsolete technology is not justfied...

Very interesting! Anyway we cannot ignore the slow decline...

I am surprised about the flat trend of BD from 2013 to 2014. And what are "VoD"? Download/Streaming video?

VoD stands for Video on Demand

Cheers

//EDIT//
Forgot to mention that the data are just for Germany, source is the GfK (Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung), a very reliable source.

Thanks a lot for the new version, works like a charm...

This new feature

requires an update of my Wavi_Mod plugin. Here it is:

Main changes:
The SoX based upmix routines now integrate into AVStoDVD in a fully transparent way
BS1770Gain updated to the current version 0.47
Several bug fixes

FFMpegSource and HEVC (H.265) source files

ffms2 v. 2.17 which comes with AVStoDVD cannot decode HEVC source files. To handle these sources you have to update ffms2.

You can either use the official Myrsloik builds at GitHub, or the C-plugin builds by qyot27.

The official builds should work right out of the box (I could not test them because they won't run on my old CPU). The C-plugin builds can also be used transparently by AVStoDVD, but it requires a little tweaking. BTW you find the latest build here:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...37#post1739037

If anyone is interested in using a qyot27 build, let me know...

Yay. Thanks man. What about the feature of autoloading of subs? I read that this functionality is now possible. Has it been integrated in avstodvd yet?
Thanks!

@SuLyMaN

Please be patient... This subs autoloading feature still needs some refinements (and further testing from the side of the BatchMux middleware) before its introduction into one alpha or beta release of AVS2DVD...

I am working on this - as reported in the thread freshly created on the restart of the BatchMux development. In the next hours there will be a consolidation of the BM test cases... And some other news... Even if the subject addresses mostly MrC, I will keep all users and interested people well informed and updated on the matter...

Cheers

@SuLyMaN

as SD said, I still have to test the new BM feats. Of course it is one of the top priorities, but release 2.8.3 release was actually ready since some days.

Stay tuned
