Blu-Ray Menu creation with multiple movies on 1 disc!?

Hi all,

i am searching a way to make BD movie discs with more then 1 movie on it and with a menu.

That i create with Photoshop + Scenarist Designer + Scenarist HDMV. Maybe there are other more easy ways todo?

I create my Bluray structure with Tsmuxer.

How can i add 3 movies to the menu? using dummy movie files in scenarist? or other programs?

Anyone any experience in doing this?
Let me known if you got something

Best regards,
PleXuS

Create menue with nero 8 using 1 min dummy clips.

Then replace dummies with compliant (long ) clips

much cheaper than scenarist.

good luck

ok, sorry , the dummy files are needed to avoid nero 8 to recode for many hours, because that is what nero does - recode.

So you take any movie which you want to put on and use tsmuxer to create a 1 min clip.

then you create your menue disc with nero 8 letting it recode the small clips. After it is done, exchange them and the corresponding clip inf files and playslist

note for true blu ray you need the HD plug in

good luck!

well, i am not sure - the way i did it, i replaced recoded dummies incl. clpinf and incl. playlist file.
of course those needed some hex edit and renaming as well.

however in such case I would assume that the dummy clip itself doesn't really matter since nero will try to convert it to blu ray anyway - and the info on whether it has audio or not is in the clipinf/playlist files which i stated i replaced

Hi it depends how you created them - for example if you have 3 files called 00001.m2ts then you need to rename 2 of them.
The corresponding files inclusive, i.e. the names. I believe Nero starts at 00000, then 00001, then 00002 - in this example files 00003.m2ts and higher will be menu files.
I am now not entirely sure, but at least one of clipinf or playlist has an entry referring to the original file. means if you have renamed it you need to rename it there - it is easy with a hex editor - hope this helps.

thanks musicman2311!

you maybe known a way to change those menu's? with your own background picture? or smal playing movie loop?

want to create my own custom menu's. it worked with scenarist designer. but i had troubles with the program running wel on vista to

And NeroVision works pretty easy and faast todo.
Just want to customize background or something..

Ps: i did get it to work just found out putting 3 fullhd movies on BD-R 25Gb discs is pretty hard. 30Gb big was it

hi again,
Nero allows you to customize menues - picturs, sounds, everything - please 'study'.

As for 30gig on 25 gig disc - can strip off stuff ? (languages, else).

If you need to recode, you may as well try Nero.... good luck

Plexus , sorrry, I have no experience with MeGui and scripts - I do however know, and I am not sure how relevant that is,
eac3to only works with Nero 7 if you chose to use the Nero audio encoder, it cannot work with Nero 8.
So if there is a similar thing, where MeGui taps into Nero codecs, that might be it - again, total guess on my side
