v1-7-16-1:

v1-7-16-3:

...which shows in the update tools.

Thanks for answer.

SUMo is a pretty useful tool, but it has a certain tendency to show "available updates" which, in reality, are nowhere to be found

There are however the users, who have those versions installed. Like here:

There's a (user interface only?) bug in this version of MPC-HC. On the Audio Renderer settings page, the "Ignore system channel mixer" setting does not persist across sessions:
- go to the page and disable the setting
- press Apply and OK
- close the player
- open the player again and go to that setting page -> the setting is enabled

So, I got myself another Astrometa USB DVB-T2 sticks.
I was able to scan few tv channels, video is coming out fine, but there isn't any audio coming out at all

Filters currently loaded:
- BDA MPEG2 Transport Information Filter
- MPEG-2 Sections and Tables
- LAV Audio Decoder ----->DD+ 48000Hz 6ch 192kbps
- LAV Audio Decoder ----->Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch 192kbps
- LAV Audio Decoder ----->MPEG Audio 48000Hz stereo 256kbps
- madVR
- Internal Audio Renderer ---->IEEE Float 48000Hz stereo 3072kbps
- LAV Video Decoder
- LAV Audio Decoder ---->AAC 48000Hz stereo 128kbps
- MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
- ASTROMETA DTV Filter
- Microsoft DVBT Network Provider

There isn't audio selection at MPC-hc either.

Any idea?

Unfortunately, clsid may not provide a binary release for every single patch, only for a new minor version (so next release would probably be 1.7.17); there are other people who build it more often, I remember the tool SUMo (Software Update Monitor) being mentioned, but I don't know where they host their own builds.

P.S.: That was less than 20 posts before your question. Don't forget to read back past posts before asking...

I know the SUMO, but I don't want to grab it from there. :x

I would prefer a separate "nightlies" archive (hosted by one of them who are able to build) as well. But that will be their decision.

For DVB issues, you can try test builds found here:
https://github.com/mpc-hc/mpc-hc/pull/145
I don't even have DVB hardware, so I can't provide any help at all.

Oh well, might as well as I test it, failing it, at least the alternative progdvb works.

EDIT: Nope, the test build doesn't work. Still no audio coming out. ProgDVB works flawlessly with audio and video. I wonder if it is caused by lack of mpc-hc audio selection. I mean there are four audio streams, but I don't seem to get menu to select the audio stream.

EDIT2:
Strange, the pin seems to be connected properly, why there isn't any audio coming out?
Below is for radio station via dvb-t2.

I think the problem is the automatically selected demultiplexer. Any alternative demultiplexer that I can use?

@JohnLai
Try settings "Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder" as a preferred external filter. Maybe that works better in your case.

@PCU
New version will probably be shortly after next stable LAV Filters release. But I am not making any promises.

For example K-Lite contains the latest development builds of MPC-HC and LAV Filters.

@PCU: "CLSID" = Class Identifier, neither related to ClearScreen nor MS-DOS.

Nope, it doesn't work.

I added "Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder" as mpc external filter, set it to 'prefer'.
Next, I added "LAV Audio Decoder" and set it to "block"
Unfortunately, once I set "LAV Audio Decoder" to 'block', mpc will output "could not open capture device" once I clicked "Open Devices..."

I think it is because "Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder" doesn't support HE-AACv2?

I am using nightly version of lavfilter and latest mpc-hc.

SmartDVB and ProgDVB works, but.....ProgDVB has some issue with Astrometa buffer detection (broken video every 5 seconds) and its WASAPI/Exclusive mode for audio works just fine. SmartDVB has perfect audio and video output. However, SmartDVB doesn't have WASAPI for audio.
