I'm now using UsEac3To v1.3.4 and can confirm when using the Global Parameter (Run) the demux is now saved to the source folder with W.64 instead of PCM. I'm happy with that so thankyou. I'm still not sure what i have to enter in the command line box in order for me to queue up my movies for demux? Before i used %_.* and that got me the full demux with PCM. Now everything has been sorted i'll now be able to get full demux with W.64 for PCM tracks but i don't know what i have to enter for this to work.

I've just used -demux -destpath="C:\My folder" -progressnumbers -log="logfile" and understand that i just enter the name and destination and everything works fine. I'm looking for a way where i don't need to enter that info and the files automatically demux to source folder like the %_.* syntax.

Just to remember how work demux in UsEac3to:

1) In Settings -> Output folder you can select your User defined Output folder.
That selection is remembered between sesions in the UsEac3to.ini file but you can change it at your taste.

2) Load or drag and drop any supported container (tested mkv, m2ts and mpls)

3) Select Output Folder between the Input folder and the User Defined
If select 'Same as input' the files are created in the input folder: "D:\Ņu 2" without problems.

4) Just RUN the button below Global Parameters.
Of course you can use the Command Line Parameters with -demux -destpath="C:\My folder" but is not needed.
Now to obtain a demux with .pcm files you can put in CML just: %_.*, but always is better the w64 file.

5) You can see how w64 file is created in my User defined folder C:\tmp\

Remember for the To-do List than PGS subtitles are stored in mkv compressed with zlib by default (in MkvToolNix) and eac3to can't extract them.
From m2ts or in mkv without compression eac3to can do it.

eac3to 3.48 was released. I'll leave it to you guys to work out UsEac3to stuff. If anything affects eac3to, please let me know.

That's wrong syntax because you need the trailing \ on the path:

-demux -destpath="C:\My folder\"

Probably you have it but you got bit by the forum software removing it in your posting. I had to put \\ there inside the quotes to get it to display. Every time I edit the post it gets changed back and I have to put \\ again.

Thankyou for getting back to me so quick :-)

I understand that using the Global Parameter switch 'Run' now puts out .W64 instead of PCM. It also puts all demuxed files in the Original Source folder which is great. However if I was to add to queue with -demux using CML all tracks go to chosen folder. Could you tell me if there is any way all -demux via CML is saved to Original Source folder? This saves time typing destination folder everytime. The %_.* option was great as it was very quick and saved to the Source location without doing anything. Only problem was PCM. Also one more thing, when I use Global Parameter to -demux all files go the same folder apart from log file which seems to go to the UsEac3to folder.

I didn't change that because there is a separate option -log="path" for that.

Then you need a button to EnQueue the demux instead RUN inmediatly.

Maybe like this:

I will add that button this night.
The log go also to the selected folder (Original or User defined)

Yes this would be great. If you could add a queue button it would make things alot easier. Thanks again Teba.

Warning: eac3to 3.49 can't be used in UsEac3to.

UsEac3to read the UsEac3to.log of input files to show the tracks, etc. but v3.49 create a file with a wrong name UsEac3to.loglog.txt

[EDIT] Solved, redownload the eac3to 3.49

Whilst using the latest eac3to 3.49 and the latest UsEac3To i've found a problem when using the Global Parameter -demux option. When all tracks are demuxed, there's a problem with the subtitle naming. The name given is 00000 - 5 - Subtitle (PGS), English.sup, when it should be 00000 - 5 - Subtitle (PGS), English, 1416 captions.sup. The number of captions is missing. When using eac3to with cmd theres no problem and all works fine and if i use the * syntax with UsEac3To everything works fine so its just using the Global Parameter -demux option.

UsEac3to only construct and execute the cmd, and can't change at all the filenames created by eac3to.exe.

Y can't do anything about this.

@DanDare1983

I've never seen captions count in a subtitle filename. What command line do you give that does that?

I only use -demux and then the demuxed files come out like this - 00000 - 5 - Subtitle (PGS), English, 1416 captions. That's how they have always come out with -demux.
