oggenc file size limt ....
i found this very cusious.
I have a 2.1 gig WAVE file. I ran oggenc -q 0 on it and got back Code:
ERROR: Cannot open input file "total.wav": File too large I logged into my serve, running Mandrake 9.2, and NFS mounted the directory this file is in. ran the same command on it and its happily encoding away.... Google search found nothing on file size limit for oggenc. strange if you ask me.

Is it the exact same oggenc compile and filesystem? Both of these can have an effect.

Yeah i thought of perhaps a different version of oggenc, but file size would be something fixed way back in the earlier versions, wouldnt you think ??
Anyway, on my system, the one having trouble with file size i have Code:
OggEnc v1.0.1 (libvorbis 1.0.1) Code:
OggEnc v1.0 (libvorbis 1.0) The server NFS mounted the directory the file in question was in, both systems are using Ext3 local file system.
