FairUse4WM - a WM/DRM removal program

FairUse4WM is a GUI version of drmdbg that supports individualization version .3930 and some WM11 versions.

Basic requirements
1. Does not work with Win98 or similar.
2. Works with both individualized content and some DRMv1 files
3. Supports WM9, WM10 and WM11beta1 and 2

The program's functioning can be verified with "Demo" DRM files from fairuse4wm.com and ezdrm.com, as well as those from other Microsoft Solution partners.

This program is ONLY designed and intended to enable fair-use rights to PURCHASED media.
- While I haven't been able to support license expiration/rental detection, please don't use this to abuse rental license
- This code does NOT allow import of KID/SID pairs to preclude its use for piracy

Note that some WM installations will have multiple ECC key-pairs, so you will likely have to "Extract Keys" using multiple licensed files. If you find a file that doesn't convert, try extracting keys wth it. Once your whole set of keys is extracted, you will no longer need to run WM per file.

Finally, I'd like to thank the people who helped me test this program. Thanks for the suggestions, and yes, even the problems. With your help, I hope I am able to release a stable tool for Wm conversion.

Latest version is 1.3.
This provides interoperability with Microsoft's IBX release of 9-23-2006
Thanks to c0redump for the static extraction technique.
Thanks to Rjamorim for hosting outside the reach of Microsoft's C&D orders

USE THIS ONLY ON FILES THAT YOU *OWN* - either through purchase or that you have ripped yourself.

Thanks, guys !!

Just like happen with some other great decrypting tools, I hope that the developer always keep FairUse4WM updated.

@mayang: do you know if drmdbg is frequently updated, according any important WM10 or WM11 patching updates too? If so, please, let us know, to get the most current version to use with these nice GUI.

If many people from community test and report any problem/bugs, soon we can have such a "stable" and maybe "generic" program to help us to UnDRMed our private ( and legal obtained ) files.

Thanks again for your work and efforts, guys!

I'll do my best to keep this updated, and if anyone with a decent WTL and C/C++ wants to take this over when I get bored with it, please let me know.
I'm already exploring a second version, but it doesn't work with WM11 yet. If anyone is up for a challenge, and understands http://www.cs.arizona.edu/solar/papers/CCS2003.pdf (to start with), let me know either by PM or email to my nick at yahoo.co.uk.

This is just like drmdbg, in that you can not have WMP updates installed? I do have 3646 installed, so I'm just curious.

Yes this is a great tool thank you viodentia and mayang if you had anything to do with helping in the development.
Better get it and go wild folks, no telling how long before MS releases a "patch" to fix WMP 10/11

Make sure you have individualization your system.
I think your audio file is drm1 and the licenses information is not store in IndivBox.key. Download any demo drm video from ezdrm.com to individualize your system first.

Or you can go here to automatically individualization your system.

Nice to see that many people are getting successfully drm'ed with their files.

If anybody see any update about drmdbg and their components, please, let us know and their alternative links, ok?

Thanks for all, folks.
