Batch convert .ass streams in .mkv files to VobSub with formatting

Greetings!

So I have a bunch of .mkv files in my folder with only one .ass subtitle stream. Since my old-ass TV can't display .ass with formatting

, I'd like to convert them to SUB/IDX. I tried Subtitle Edit and worked perfectly if I imported the .mkv. But how can I batch convert? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You could try Subtitle Edit - Tools -> Batch convert... but it will only convert the first track in each mkv file and only very plain styles are supported (like font/italic/bold).
(VobSub is one of the last formats in the "output format" combo-box - about 260 items down)
