When working with video, better fast cpu or video card
Hello one and all,
If I want to buy a new rig to do video processing using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9 pro Pack and other various video utilities, where should I concentrate my money? Should I buy a very good video card but midrange processing? Or the other way around, an I7 920 with 3-6 gigs of triple data ddr3 but a mediocre video card? I am building this for a friend of mine...she knows nothing about computers except for her video work... Let's just say that she is willing to dish out the bucks(but not go too crazy) for a good system...
