Need advise on switching to me=tesa
Hi,
I use latest x264 binaries with these base settings ( preset = placebo ) for BluRay encodes. Quote:

1) if it delivers same or better quality while providing better compression? 2) should I change any other settings if I switch from umh to tesa? 3) on a different topic, is it possible to pass the .avs script directly to x264.exe(tmod or any other build) without using something like avs2pipemod64 ? Thanks! Last edited by bjoker; 28th October 2020 at 00:52. |

TESA is slower and may offer some marginal efficency/quality improvements, and doesn't require changes to any other parameters. These are only a partial set of parameters, though; do you have a command line to share?
