Please forgive my ignorance, but to be totally ignorant, how can you change the colourspace without reencoding? You mean converting from HDR to SDR? Usually, I am also converting to 1080, so I know I would have to reencode anyway, but how do you do that with the colourspace without reencoding...?

No HDR to SDR, this function changes the colorspace tags and the colorspace stream info too.
It is mainly intended to correct incorrect/unknown colorspace information.
