Problems with "Just Like Heaven"

I recently burned "Just Like Heaven" succussfully(or so I thought), It will not playback on my primary DVD Player(Newer Sony Model). It will playback on my desktop, laptop, an older Sony DVD Player and my Generic TV/DVD combo. I've played back other DVD's I have burned without issue on all of these other units. The display on my Sony DVD player just flashes: "Disk 1", I have even tried loading it into other slots(5 Disk Carousel).

P.S. I tried two different ways: DVDFabDecrypter with AnyDVD running in the background and DVD Shrink, I tried using just DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink unsuccesfully.

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

Your statement would seem to preclude the possibility of a "bad burn". It's more likely that the one specific standalone DVD player either doesn't "like" the brand of burnable media you used and/or can't deal with the speed at which you burned the media...

To determine the capabilities/limitations of your specific brand and model of standalone DVD player, as well as media compatibility, go to:

I've tried two different types of media: Verbatim 16x and TDK 8x(I've had very good success with both types). I've burned 3 on Verbatim and 1 on TDK of this movie, also my DVD player has not had an issue with any brand of DVD-R/+R.

As I said before - or can't deal with the speed at which you burned the media.

Try burning at a lower speed (e.g. 4X)

There is NO newer copy protection on the Region 1 version of "Just Like Heaven", so you should not have encountered any difficulty using either DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4 or DVD Shrink (or BOTH, in concert)

Good possibility that your blank was bad. Try to rip a new copy, using the same type of media.

So, I tried a new pack of the Verbatim(16x) and a new pack of the TDK(8x), burned two copies out of each but still no luck.

Third time suggesting - Try burning at a lower speed (e.g. 4X)...

I really doubt it was a burning issue. Sounds like a transcoding problem and by just doing the movie, you eliminated the problem.
