Just a small suggestion, would it be possible to have the update checker inside the player check with your releases on github?

No MPC-HC developers, no MPC-HC changes. clsid is just doing updated builds when components are updated, and we thank him for that.

clsid, I've found this patch recently: https://trac.mpc-hc.org/ticket/2203
It's pretty old so I'm not sure if it will work with current version.
Can you check and consider it for your builds?

Provide a working patch and preview image. I am not spending time on ancient stuff that is likely to be broken.

Please try - and it's not the first time this is said to you - to understand that there is nobody working on mpc-hc anymore.
There is nobody making new stuff.
Let.. it.. go..

There is only _one_ way to get stuff into mpc-hc now, and that is to do it yourself and deliver it as a drop-in addition (patch) so that it can be included without spending time on it.

You can't keep bugging people to make something for you who have nothing to do with the project and are having other priorities in their lives.
Clsid is NOT a programmer working on mpc-hc. As far as you are concerned, he is the one clicking on the buttons 'merge', 'build' and 'upload to github'.
