Out of interest... Why?
It has been superseded by better performing video encoding formats?

Its been a while since I messed with that, so some memories might be rusty on this..
The Microsoft MSMPEG stuff actually was a slightly modified MPE4ASP Codec. Some here on doom9 did patch a ffmpeg binary in order to losslessly convert MS-stuff into "pure" ISO MPEG4 Files. If this is of interest for you, I might find it somewhere in my old archives or maybe itīs still here in the forum somewhere.. But since you are asking to produce "MS-Variants" - I am curious (as others): Why? Do you have a playback device which only accepts these old codecs? In what container? |
