Video opened through uTorrent is cut to a quarter

Does someone here have a clue on what's going on...?

When opening a video by clicking on it in the file list, it is not displayed correctly. It's cropped to the upper left quadrant. This happens with every video player I tried, MPC, MPV, VLC, Pot Player, so it should be a system error. I guess opening through utorrent doesn't go through explorer directly. It hasn't always been like this, but I don't recall exactly when I discovered this happening the first time.

I tried applying many different compatibility settings on utorrent.exe through explorer (right-click; compatibility) but no difference whatsoever. Running Win 11, utorrent 2.2.1 and using LAV Filters Megamix 0.79.2-18.
