yuv 8bit & 10bit = banding vs RGB csp

It's impossible to avoid banding using color space YUV even with x264 10bit without adding noise through video editor or similar things?
I did many tests with different settings like tune film, grain, input-range, forcing high bitrates as 20000, changing chroma with 8bit and 10bit. I put an image to show what I get:

played through MPC-HC.

with RGB csp its ok. YUV = banding. I play the video with different players like MPC-HC, VLC, Kmplayer...
It is more noticeable with images with big circular gradients (ringing issue)

I have doing some animations. It is ok to encode with csp RGB?
