Zip function?
Is there a Vapoursynth "zip" function that takes consecutive frames from a list of videos and returns a video?
For instance assume that: videoA has frames A1, A2, A3 etc videoB has frames B1, B2, B3 etc videoC has frames C1, C2, C3 etc The resulting video would be A1,B1,C1,A2,B2 etc. new_video = zip([videoA, videoB, videoC]); |

Python comes with batteries included, so of course you can read and write Zip files.
