not read srt if sub attached to movie
hi all
i have a player for support from mkv and mov and mp4 and ... it can read srt files but if a subtitle attached to movie then cant read srt files i used toolnix for attached my sub or detach sub from movie but cant read movie now can u hel me? thanks |

Maybe your DVD player can't show embedded subs within a MKV file. Have you simply tried including the srt file along with the MKV file (both must have exactly the same name).
I have a PVR that will play MKV's + subs as a separate file but it won't show mkv's with embedded subs and second languages and chapter points whereas my Popcorn C200 will. So my guess is your DVD player doesn't support this type of MKV file.
