Probably yes, if it's the 32bit version.
I also had to enter only one version of AvsPmod in my firewall, which I think was the 32bit version. Can it now unfortunately no longer say exactly because I removed the entry yesterday.

For the 4GB extension of the 32bit version this tool is used: Microsoft (R) COFF/PE Editor version 9.00.30729.01

I have uploaded 3 versions of the 32bit version here.
_MS_4GB is the Microsoft edited version (as before)
_PowerTech_4GB is a version edited with a tool from PowerTech
_No_4GB is an unprocessed version, so up to 2GB memory usage

Each AvsPmod.exe has the same size, but the MD5 hash is different. So there are differences between the MS and the PowerTech version.
But I have to say that I don't overrate the whole thing, it would be cheeky on the part of Microsoft, but it wants almost every tool on the Internet.... one more to block.

Edit:
AvsPmod 32bit: local destination port 50008 must be accessible
AvsPmod 64bit local destination port 50009 must be accessible.
This is needed for the 'Single Instance' function, even if it is not used.

So do not block completely.

For the enoder settings (x264, ffmpeg, xvid) there are templates in the folder 'Tools' (*.presets)

The presets can easily be changed by yourself or more can be added, just open a .presets file with a text editor.
And if you don't need xvid templates, you can rename the 'xvid.presets' to 'xvid.presets~' or delete it.

As I understand changes at "Script Encoded (CLI)" can't be saved?

You can change the default parameters for the encoder in the presets (or add/remove). And you can also change the values in the parameter line in the Script encoder (CLI) before you start encoding.

I also prepared something for x265, but I don't know if I finished it.
I had taken care of ffmpeg and did not pursue x265. I think. You would have to try it out by creating an x265.presets file.

PS:
Under Help > 'Video tutorials & more' there is a pre release of AvsPmod x64. There I added an option for the CMD codepage in the 'Script encoder (CLI)', interesting for germans, enter 1252 for german umlauts

AvsPmod 2.7.3.2
Code:
* Added: custom color for the preview filter in the slider window ( Options > Font and colors > Advanced 2 ) default on.
* Fixed: Bookmarks count was sometimes not correctly stored in the session file (Session info tool gave wrong information).
* Update 'encoder_gui.py', added a option to set the Cmd Codepage for the batch encoding file e.g. enter 1252 for Latin 1 (deutsche Umlaute).
- If only partially updated: in the AvsPmod\tools directory, encoder_gui.py must be replaced.
* Encoder gui: Doom9 user 'real.finder' added 10bit presets for x264 and ffmpeg.x264
* Updated 'Session info tool' a bit.
* Bugfix: Separate DPI settings for the status bar did not work.
* Some smal changes
Happy New Year to all !

I have three questions:
  1. How do you add in more presets to AVSPMod?
  2. How do you "replicate" the methods used to upscale vidoes? I am not talking about the actual content but more on how you can analyze the codecs, container, aspect ratio, color, etc.? Just general information like in a AVS script.
  3. Can you stop a video in AVPSMod from going past a certain point? I know in Virtualdub you can stop a video from going past a certain point via the slider and you can set markers on where you want it to stop.

1.) I do not know what presets you mean

2.) I don't understand the question in part one. And to the second part: There is information in the status bar that you can select under the program options. Then there is also the Video Information menu

3.) There are bookmarks and selections. If you have one or more selections and right click on the play button and select 'Play loop' the selections will be played.

If you right click on the slider you can add or remove a bookmark. Selections are created with the trim editor.
Please look at all the videos I have created to AvsPmod. There are also things shown that do not necessarily belong to the topic of the video.

For the first question, I meant the AVISynth presets both standard and custom.

For the first half of the second question, I essentially wanted to gain information from the video and see if I can copy the settings from it. Like how did they upscale it or noise reduction for example.

For the third question, is that how you do it? I just need to right click the slider? Where do you find it?

There is no such thing. You can enter your filters under Options > 'Extension templates' which will be written into the script with this file extension.

No program can do that, think about it...

To use Avisynth you have to create a script with the right instructions. You should first get the basic knowledge about avisynth. This includes Trim()

I have some more questions:
  1. How do you add in the Fade in and Fade out to a video?
  2. Can you do transitions like in more traditional editors?
  3. Do you type out what you want to do? Or are there other options that will help achieve the same results like more traditional editors?

Google has found everything.

https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=174399
http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Transit...r)#Transitions

http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Fade
FadeIn(25)

http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Dissolve
v1 = last.trim(0, 200)
v2 = last.trim(500, 700)
Dissolve(v1, v2, 25)

Or like that, without last
v1 = trim(0, 200)
v2 = trim(500, 700)
v3 = Dissolve(v1, v2, 25)
The result is now stored in v3, so v3 must be returned
return v3

AvsPmod is an Avisynth editor with preview function and useful features.
You have to write scripts yourself, without script nothing works.
