AVI with one mixed/blurred/interlaced frame every 6 frames

Source: 29.97fps 640x480 AVI, probably recorded from TV
Quality: watchable but not very good, unfortunately the best copy available
Problem: 5 frames ħOK (some interlacing artefacts), then 1 frame which is a mix of the previous and next frame with LOTS of interlacing artefacts. This repeats thoughout the entire AVI
What I've tried: keep only even fields & remove duplicates, which worked pretty well, but left me with a lower resolution

Is there a better way to do this? Thanks in advance!

Closed for rule 6. Please explain in a PM if you hope to get this re-opened.
