Hello, kemo1000.

Unfortunately your question is far too general to give a precise answer. Especially as you didn't provide a sample.

One thing that can be said in general: If you start with a "bad quality" source, then there is no magic filter to turn that source into good quality. Better forget about that idea

There may be specific defects in your source that can be fixed. But each specific defect needs a specific filter to fix. So it needs a look at the individual problem...

Moreover most filters have their pros and cons. For example a "sharpening" filter may be helpful to improve the crispiness of your video, but it will also emphasize artifacts in the source.

The same way a "denoise" filter will remove noise and make the video more compressible, but it will kill fine details and may even cause ghosting at the same time.

(Rule of thumb: The less filters you need to apply, the better! So before you apply a specific filter, you should ask yourself what exactly you want to achieve with that filter)

As explained before, a filter that will "magically" turn a bad quality source into good quality does NOT exist

For example: If you have a low-bitrate source that is full of "blocking" artifacts, you can try to smooth out the blocks with some deblocking filter, but this will kill even more details.

You need to understand that detail, which has been destroyed once, cannot be restored. The only method is going back to the original source that hasn't been screwed up!

So please clarify: Where is your "low quality" source from? And why you cannot use the original video of better quality? If possible, provide a sample...
