Strange interaction between Smartripper and Star Trek DS9

When I rip Star Trek DS9 using Smartripper, the closing credits for the last episode on each disc are missing. This is particularly weird because the closing credits are not a separate chapter; the cutoffs are happening mid-chapter.

The first few episodes on each disc are unaffected. The issue does not happen when using DVD Decrypter.

Does anyone know what's happening here?

iirc. SmartRipper did have problems with 'newer' DVDs sometimes,... (20 years after the last official release, you probably can forget someone fixing such bugs)

The ds9 releases are about the same age. Season 1 was released Feb 25th, 2003, and season 7 was December 2nd of the same year.

Yeah, about the same age as the last release (assuming you didn't get a later re-release) of SmartRipper, so the disks might contain different broken stuff that SmartRipper was never tweaked to cope with.

It's funny because the Voyager and Enterprise discs, which were released later, don't have this issue.

Also, a few DS9 discs are different. Some only cut off the last second or so instead of the last minute; some cut off several minutes. On one disc, the episode order didn't match the program chain order, and the affected episode was the one that was last in chronological order, not the last program chain.
