Buggy XviD 1.2.1 build with ICC for EM64T

On Ubuntu 9.04 64bit version I tried to build XviD 1.2.1 with ICC for Linux, version 11.0.083 EM64T. The build is successful, only with CFLAGS=-no-multibyte-chars, but when I encode on 2nd pass, I get a segmentation fault during the process. I used Avidemux 2.4.4 and mencoder and both crashed at 2nd pass, so I assume it's xvid's fault. In xvid I tried different options enabled or disabled, but no one worked. Same version compiled with gcc has no such problems. The only reason I wanna make it work is that I noticed an 10% speed boost on 1st pass, and that's quite good beside the speed gained by using a 64bit build. Thanks in advance for your ideas.
