IVTC - could someone hand me a cribsheet?

Hiya!

First, I don't know if this is where my post should belong. I figured it would fit in multiple categories, but this is where I landed. Also, I could probably easily find answers by running Google strings over and over, but figured that if I dropped my question here and got straight up answers it could lie as good steady-ground for future followers.

So, IVTC is basically bringing non-standard cut film back to 23.976fps. This, I know. Also, I know that adding .ConvertFPS(23.976) to my say 25 or 29.97fps clips is _not_ a correct way of achieving this.

So, I wonder if someone could just post

#1) AVS-code to correctly IVTC a 25 FPS clip:

#2) AVS-code to correctly IVTC a 29.97 FPS clip.

would be much appreciated.

Regards~
