VideoLan Movie Creator project

Dunno how many of you already knows it, I found it some days ago while searching for an (active) open source multiplatform a/v nle editor project.

VLMC (VideoLAN Movie Creator) is a free video editing software, offering features to realize semi-professional quality movies, but with the aim to stays simple and user-friendly.
Official website

What's your opinion around it ?

(note: i've collected many links to interesting a/v editor projects, let me know if you need me to share them).
