Video for Windows

Hello

BTW, my question is not exactly DVD-related but DivX related
I'm currently trying to develop a software that would allow to cut AVIs, recompress sound, multiplex video and audio streams and so on. My problem is that I don't have an intenet acces at home (where I'm developping) so I can't simply use MSDN.
So, could anyone give me an URL for some downloadable guide on how to use VfW ? (I pray you won't answer me to buy an MS related SDK, I'm afraid I can't afford something costing more than $50)

Just one thing, why don't I simply use Virtual Dub/Nandub ? I do use those, the point is that I want to improve my programming skill.

Thank you anyway,
Ciler

Where you have the access you could dl/burn/bring home the whole platform SDK and the latest documentation (including VfW) from here.
