Is there a standard way to "number" interlaced fields?

Is there a standard way for NLEs to "number" interlaced fields?

If you scrub through a video it'll say frame 100, frame 101, frame 102, etc... but it there a standardised way to display a per-field identifier?

You could go 100t, 100b, 101t, 101b... for TFF video. Or what about 100, 100.5, 101, 101.5...?
