Avidemux: Match the Codec

I have a YUV 444 10bit video, but when I used Avidemux's filters to burn in subtitles, the output was YUV 420 8bit. How do I get it to match the input video codec?

Avidemux output is YUV 420 / 8bit only.
In copy mode is transparent for chroma subsampling and color bit depth. But not always: If i remember right RGBs / 10 bit doesn't work (black screen); RGBs /8 bit works.

I would recommend using FFmpeg to burn in subtitles.
