I'm joining a new job this month and I'll be busy for the next 6-8 months. I had started working on adding transitions but it is still incomplete. I don't know when I'll be able to get back to developing this program. So I'm opening the source code. The project has been uploaded to SourceForge.net and the source code for v1.2 is available there.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/avisynthstudio/

The programming language is Visual Basic .NET and it should compile cleanly with Microsoft VisualBasic 2008 Express Edition or the full version of Visual Studio 2008.The code is not very well-commented but the code is pretty much self-explanatory. See the README file for some useful info about the code.

If you wish to develop this program further or if you wish to reuse the code from this project, feel free to do so. The project is licensed under GPL, so any derivative works must be open-source. If you want to develop this program further, please give the project a new name. Also keep me posted about your work. I may be able to help you with some suggestions. If you use code from this project to develop your own NLE then please give credit where credit is due. Put my name somewhere in the credits and I will be more than happy. If you need help with the code you can send me an email or leave a message in this thread.
