I have it installed on an older Win Xp machine and it works fine.

I have read that an uninstall and re-intall i supposed to work, but it has not for me.

Does anyone have any clues on how to fix this.

(Don;t sugest an upgrade. For various reasons an upgrade is not possible). Others have reported that this version working fine on W7.

I don't have an answer and I won't suggest an upgrade but I can't help my curiosity.... why are you forced to use an old version?
